We looked around, there where vikings, anglosaxons, tudors and romans too. I ended up briefly discussing Porta-loos with the Anglosaxons, piss-pots with the Tudors, so by the time we got to the vikings, sharadin had made sure I had a packet of tablet fudge to keep my mouth occupied.
I managed to get one half decent photo, which is in the gallery, but the biggest bonus of the day noticing how many pagans (or people, who looked pagan if their apearance was anything to go by) there where walking around. Better still was chatting to Steve Cousins, the Green Man Potter, from whom Sharadin bought a challace and a bowl.
It was a nice realisation to find outselves talking to a pagan, and knowing the couple stood next to us at the stall where also pagan. There was a slightly exciting feeling to knowing that the people around you followed a similar path, and you could talk about things without fear of negitive judgement.
Anyways I'll plug the green man potter's website, because he has some pretty good stuff and was nice to chat to! [link]
